    1872: 5 bani carmine, perf. 12½, a vertical strip of three (Transfer Types 5/7/9) used on extremely rare 1872 cover front to the Romanian Bank in London all tied by "Bucuresci" datestamps (May 31) in black (Kiriac fig. 488) with framed "P.D." alongside in same ink (Paid to Destination) and the adhesives also tied by framed DUPÂ / PLACARE (Too Late) marking in black (Kiriac fig. 1598) in black. Framed orange red "P.D." at left and manuscript "2" (silvergroschen) credit to German Postal Union in red crayon at left. A fresh and fine piece. Illustrated in Edition D'Or on page 142.
