25 bani orange & blue, a fine exaample used on "Administration des Postes de Roumanie" blue Claim /Search form for a lost registered letter with a declared value of 40 lei. originally mailed from Pesth on November 22, 1870. The 25 b., with top margin minutely shaved but with clear to large margins on the other three sides and minor file fold, applied for the cost of the reclamation search and neatly tied by bold strike of "Turnu-Severin" datestamp (8/12) in black (Kiriac fig. 358). Additional strike below and straight line TURNU-SEVERIN handstamp above, the form then sent to Alt-Orsova (9/12), Pest (13/12). Extremely rare and fine, as far as this describer can ascertain just the two of these forms, similarly franked, are recorded, the other being ex the 'Cornelia' collection. Illustrated in Handbook II on page 247 and Edition D'Or vol XII on page 137. Certificate Heimbüchler (2010).
