    1862 (July 31): Registered cover from Ismail to Galatz accompanying a Gold shipment of 117 lei, struck with two despatch datestamps of ISMAIL / MOLDOVA in black, one dated 18/7 and erased, second strike correctly dated 31/7 (Kiriac fig. 294) and struck with framed PORTO LEI 2 PAR handstamp in black at left with rate "2" in manuscript (Kiriac fig. 1494) on despatch at Ismail. Reverse with complete dated red wax seal and two strikes of "Galatz / Moldova" arrival (2/8) datestamps in black. A fine and most appealing cover. Opinion Heimbüchler (2012).
