    Surcharged "Valor 10 Centavos" on black on 50 c. pale green (Type c), single and vertical strip of four all used on reverse of 1921 registered cover from Barranquilla to Cologne, Germany cancelled by three line SOCIEDAD COLOMBO ALEMANA / DE / TRANSPORTES AEREOS in violet and by Cöln arrival datestamps (Dec 5). Obverse bearing 10 c. blue registration stamp and postage of 1917 2 c. carmine-red in a strip of five all cancelled in blue at Barranquilla (Nov 7). Envelope with opening faults of no significance as, although not flown, this is a remarkable and very rare cover-the largest known multiple of the Type c overprint recorded Gi 5 = £ 6'000/Mi 6/III = EUR 7'000/Scott = $ 6'000 off cover.
