    4 reales red, unused examples (2), both from the base of the sheet, position 97 with part of marginal rule at base and position 100, slight wrinkle, otherwise fine. Scarce and of fine appearance Gi 4a = £ 750/Mi 4/I = EUR 800/Scott = $1'000.
    Note: The 4 reales was printed in sheets of 104 stamps - 8 horizontal rows of 13 subjects. The design, with the exception of the vignette appears to have been copied from the Mexico Hidalgo issue.
