Second Printing Group 1867: ½ real dull blue to bright blue, the range of used examples (7, including a cover), with five being dated between February 1867 and July 1867 with one stamp cancelled in manuscript. Exceptional examples included from position 2 on the sheet showing the impressed Ecuadorean Coat of Arms and also a fine used example from Position 1 showing the marginal lines, further single marginal example used on October 1867 entire from Guaranda to Quito. A very fine and scarce page, see Edition D'Or vol. XXXIII, page 26.
Note: On the Second Printing Group the impression is not as clear, the ink is coarse and frequently unevenly applied, the plates had apparently not been cleaned since the late 1864 and early 1865 printings.
