    1856: 5 c. red brown, a superb four margined example in a deep shade tied to 1857 entire letter to Württemberg via England, tied by bold "Highland / Ill." datestamp (Feb 25) in black paying the internal postage. "N. York Am. Pkt. / 23" cents debit datestamp at right (March 7) and blue manuscript '45' kreuzer rating. Reverse with Aachen transit (March 21) and Stuttgart cds. A superb and extremely rare franking in outstanding condition.
