    Kyiv 1918: Collection hundreds used/unused Kyiv ovpts on single adhesives and multiples up to sheets of 25, incl. single and multiple handstamp usages, Arnold and Svenson types, ovpts on Chainbreaker, Romanov, Postal Saving and better Imperial arms stamps up to 10 rub. perf. definitives, showing varieties such as center offsets or inverted Tridents, in addition Ministerial ovpts on Romanov commemorative stamps, closes with a group of forgeries or doubtful adhesives. A fine assembly in a 28 side stockbook, incl. items unlisted and unpriced in Bulat catalogue, few stamps punched Bulat = $ 8'600+.
    Note: This and the following seven Lots are from the collection of Alexander Epstein, well-known for his publications on Ukrainian postal history in the 1917 - 23 period. This collection was formed in the Soviet Union in the 1950s - 70s and so could not be submitted to Dr. Seichter or other recognised experts. However, the collection was carefully formed and the great majority of the material is genuine. Forgeries are marked as such.
