    1869: Stampless covers (2) from Smyrna to Genova, each struck with SMIRNE thimble datestamps (Tchilinghirian fig. 10), one in black (Jan 30) and the other in blue (Oct 1), each struck with framed "Piroscafi / Postali / Italiani" in black and both charged '7' handstruck due on arrival. A fine pair.
