    1853 (March 6): Entire letter from Ibraila to Syra, Greece carried outside the Mails (frozen Danube) to Constantinople where placed into the Mails by Forwarding Agent (manuscript displaying well on reverse) and struck with Greek Post Office CONSTANTINOPLE-TURKEY datestamp in blue green (March 16) and oval "PD". Thence carried on French Paquebot "Egyptus" to Syra and charged 120 lepta on recceipt (March 19). A fresh, fine and rare entire.
