    1788 (Sept 13): Entire letter from Krakow to Hodimont by Aachen, mailed from Podgorze (Austrian territory) and struck with "v. Podgorz" gothic script handstamp in black, with manuscrirpt "8" and crossed on front panel to denote payment, probably as far as Cologne. Charged 12 stuyvers due on arrival in Hodimont.
