    1862/67: Consecutive 2 l. yellow-brown on cream, 10 l. orange on blued, 40 l. deep mauve on blued and 80 l. carmine, margins generally fine although the adhesives are applied over the edges of the 1863 entire letter to Marseille, France tied by "1" numeral obliterators of Athens. Red "Paid to Destination"* handstamp with Athens despatch cds in black (Jan 25j) and carried at single rate of 112 lepta (= 1 franc), with "Grece / Marseille" entry marking in red (Feb 11) and Marseille arrival (Feb 12) on reverse. A fine and attractive franking.
