    1882/84: Pacific War, five covers, including a reigstered example from Mollendo to Argentina, franked to the back with strip of three 10 c. slate; also four stampless covers, two from Pisco; one an official postal administration and one from Paita to Lima (part of back missing) endorsed "no stamps available..", some faults, mainly fine, unusual group (x5). Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
