    Anglo-French occupation, Stamps of German Togo overprinted, 1914 (17 Sept): 10 pf. carmine, showing variety "No watermark" (Gibbs 3c), from a distinctive setting 1b with TOGO having a narrow, then a wide O, while the O in Occupation being wide, a used example of excellent deep colour and very good centering, cancelled by "ASSAHUN TOGO 9 1 / 15" cds. Following Gibbs, only five or six examples are recorded, another example used in Assahun shown on page 174. Certs. PF (1996), Scheller (2018) Gi = £ 7'500.
