    1844: Cover front from Bunbury to Perth struck with fine "♛ / POST OFFICE / BUNBURY" despatch handstamp in brown with manuscript "April 16, 1844" alongside; rated '4d.' in manuscript at top with framed "UNPAID / BUNBURY" handstamp at right. The cover is addressed to Alfred Hawes Stone (1801-1873) who was a solicitor who travelled to the Colony on the "Caroline" arriving on October 12, 1829 and later became Master of the Supreme Court.
