    1887: Collection of unused multiples of the first issue Map of Panama, 20 c. black on lilac, comprising six blocks, including one of forty-five (5 x 9) ex Helme, one of eighteen (2 x 9), sixteen (4 x 4), twelve (4 x 3), ten (5 x 2) and six (2 x 3), also a vertical strip of five and a horizontal pair. Additionally comes with two covers franked with singles, one from the French Consulate sent from Panama to Bordeaux and the other sent to New York. Also a small study of seven singles used, with shades and dates detailed and includes the earliest use of the type I and II, a scarce accumulation in mostly fine condition.
