90 reis grey-black, Intermediate Impression, a used horizontal pair from the Second Composite Plate, State B (positions 14-15), with huge margins all round with horizontal frameline and sheet marginal at base, cancelled by two large part strikes of "CIDADE / DE / NICTHEROY" handstamp in black (Ayres fig. 1371). Small closed tear at top right and lower right corner margin slightly truncated but an extremely attractive and scarce pair. Cert.
