Army Official 1909 (Jan): Army Service 2 pi. black & blue, wmk. Star & Crescent, overprint Type B, a used example, variety "Overprint Double", the impressions almost exactly super-imposed, lightly cancelled in black (Talodi 26 May 1911) leaving the "Army" part of the variety clear. An exceedingly rare stamp with just one unused and two recorded used examples known - the Danson collection (lot 937) had the adjoining, lower stamp to this example.
