    Italian Post Office 1863/74: The cover selection (7) with 1867 entire to Milan franked 1863 60 c. lilac, 1872 covers (2) to Torino or Genova each franked 1863 40 c. carmine, 1874 Estero 30 c. brown (Sassone 6) on 1876/77 covers (2) to Genova and Livorno; 1874 Estero 40 c. carmine (Sassone 7) used on 1874 cover to Milano and rare usage of 1874 Estero 60 c. lilac (Sassone 8) on registered 1878 cover to Livorno with framed RACCOMANDATO and "Alessandria D'Egitto / Poste Italiane / Consegne" datestamp above (signed Sorani and Raybaudi). Condition varies but a scarce group.
