Crown CA, perf. 14, the 1893 printing, an unused vertical strip of three (positions 97 / 109 / 121), sheet marginal at left, with central stamp showing variety "Surcharge Double", of fine fresh colour and superb appearance, hinged for protection, small part og. A spectacular and beautiful positional example of this rare variety, undoubtedly the most attractive of the 6 examples possible, one being housed in the collection of His Majesty King Charles III. Cert. RPSL (1969) Gi = £ 25'000.rnNote: The overprint forme for the 2½d. consisted of ten rows of six impressions.
