    1852 (June): 10 c. black on white & 15 c. black on rose in a combination franking with 1855 25 c. brown-red, two examples, four fine and fresh adhesives with fair to large margins, tied by "PARMA 6 AUGUSTO." (1856) single-line datestamp and framed "P.D.", respectively on entire letter to Genova, showing handwritten "Probe without value", reverse with arrival cds (8 Aug.). Minor toning, nevertheless an attractive combination cover, signed Emilio Diena & Grioni; cert. A. Diena (1974) Sassone = € 70'000.rnNote: First a franking of 60 c. was added to this cover and obliterated by the PARMA datestamp, paying correctly a rate of twice 30 centesimi to Sardinia for a letter up to 15 grams. On top of the lower datestamp an additional 15 centesimi adhesive was added on a later date and cancelled by the PD handstamp.
