Red, plate 98, lettered PL, Archer Perf. 16, used on cover, from London to Aberystwyth, dated 6 April 1854, tied by fine London Inland “7”, arrival to reverse dated 7 April 1854, very fine example from the third issue of 1853-1854, the General Distribution, light filing crease well clear of adhesive, scarce and fine example of a London usage. Cert. RPSL (1994). SG16b = £1’500.
