    Postage Due 1871/72: Greece 20 l. blue (Mi. 36) in a horizontal pair, used on 1875 part cover to Cairo, tied by "Karpenision / 120" cds in black (repeated at lower left) and struck with red "PD". Taxed on arrival with handstruck "1" due marking in black to collect the amount due for the internal rate between Alexandria and Cairo. Handstamped taxed covers bearing Greek adhesives are extremely scarce. Trimmed at left but with all five cancels on reverse fully shown.
