    1854/59: Diadem 6 d. fawn, a used horizontal pair with large margins all round, tied to 1859 mourning envelope from Sydney to Hobart, Tasmania lightly cancelled in black and further tied by framed "SHIP LETTER INWARDS FREE" datestamp in red (Jan 2, 1860). Dspatch cds of Sydney on reverse (Dec 23, 1859) in black. Cover counter-signed at lower left by William Denison, Governor of New South Wales between 1855 and 1861 and prior to that Governor of Tasmania. A charming and scarce cover in superb quality. Cert.
