    1850: 6 cs. black, plate 2, type 13, used on cover, from SANTANDER to BAYONA (France), tied by spider cancel in black, dated 23 Dec 1850, a '5' décime charge mark (50 cents according to the Overland Tariff of 1849) and transit front, arrival on the reverse dated 26 Dec 1850, horizontal filing crease not affecting the stamp, very rare Mail Abroad with First issue being insufficiently franked; 6 cuartos was not compulsory for ordinary mail to France.
