    Russian PO's 1849: Russian Post Office printed Receipt form used at Jassy, with double headed Eagle at top, manuscript filled and dated 15 December 11849 detaiuling that Mr. Michai Sturcha received a transfer of 5'666 roubles and this was exchanged for 178'505 piastres, with at lower right notation of charges: "weight 37.20 / Insurance 892.21 / Receipt cost 15" and struck with oval neagtive seal handstamp reading: "From the Post Office Abroad at Jassy" with Eagle above struck in black - this handstamp not recorded on Mail. Extremely rare, probably unique. Ex collection Sassower.
