    1865: Entire letter to Bucharest endorsed at top as sending a satchel of gold coins weighing 998 grams endorsed "Cum gropu N.142 lei 3'000", struck with newly introduced "FRANCO" in blue replacing the Cyrillic version, with "PITESCI" despatch cds also in blue (Jan 12) at right (Kiriac fig. 347). Reverse with "Bucuresci" arrival cds (Jan 13) in black. A fine entire. Ex collection Sassower.
