    1861: Entire letter sent registered to Galatz with "FOKSCHANI / MOLDOVA" cds (Feb 24), "RECEPISSE" registration handstamp and rare oval framed "FRANCO / FOKSCHANI / Lei - Par." handstamp all in blue (Kiriac figs. 275+1481) - this last handstamp used to denote that the writer was forwarding valuables. Reverse with "Galatz / Moldova" arrival cds (Feb 26) in black. A very rare entire. Ex collection Sassower.
