    1859: Entire letter from Svishtov, Bulgaria to Bucharest with sender's cachet in blue at left, manuscript Forwarding Agent notation on reverse and presumably carried across the Danube by hand and mailed at Zimnicea with superb Cyrillic "ZIMNICEA / AUG 29" large two line dated handstamp in blue (Kiriac fig. 259). A few face panel closed tears but an exceptional and very rare usage. Ex collection Sassower.
