    Stamp Duty Issue 1890: Recess printing £ 50 black-violet, wmk. V over Crown sideways (although most of the watermark is the marginal line), perf. 12½, an unused example overprinted "Specimen" in grey-black three times centrally, fresh and fine, large part og. A rare stamp (normal cancelled £ 70'000), Ceremuga states "only a small number of "Specimens" recorded". Cert. Ceremuga (2011).
