    ROPIT 1879: Russian Levant 7 k. carmine & green, a single example used on 1882 cover from Varna to Constantinople tied by oval framed "R.O.P.I.T. / VARNA" datestamp (Nov 25) in blue (unrecorded by Tchilinghirian) and Constantinople ROPIT Office of arrival on reverse in black (Nov 27).
