    1867, 1d. black, Paris Exhibition Proof, on soft white card, horizontal pair, lettered MG-MH, three good to large margins, shaved at left, small imperfections and slight staining as often seen, a scarce multiple of this proof. Gi. DP38(a) = £4,500.rnOn occasion of this Exhibition, proof sheets in black and rose were printed from Plate 103, one sheet for each colour, and blocks of twenty were displayed. The formerly adjoining pair MI-MJ is in the collection of His Majesty King Charles III.
