1854/57: 1 d. bright orange-vermilion on slightly bluish paper, position 9 on the plate of 12 subjects, intermediate impression, a used example with good to huge margins all round, showing small portion of adjoining stamp at base, cancelled by circular numeral "1" of Port Louis in black. Slightest of thins in margin at base not impinging on the design, a fine appearing example of this rare stamp. Cert. RPSL (1989) Gi = £ 3'250.
