    First Solo Crossing of the South Atlantic from East to West 1933 (Feb. 6): Legal-size cover posted at the Lympne Airport with Brazil franking tied by Port Natal Feb. 9 circular datestamp and "Rio G. Norte Feb. 9" transitmark, signed by Capt. Mollison. Very fine and extremely scarce cover carried by Mollison with his annotation "Carried by me / first England / S. America flight" in manuscript. One of only three covers known AAMC 1174.
