    1870 (April 16): Double rate Entire letter from Schiedam to New York bearing 1867 Willem 50 c. golden, type I, a fine and fresh example with good perforation and deep vibrant colour, tied by dotted '95' numeral, SCHIEDAM despatch cds in black and "NEW YORK PAID ALL" arrival (April 28) cds in red alongside. Horizontal file fold not distracting at all from this rare and splendid usage, the Corinphila card index knows three other covers, certs. C. Muis (1984), E. Diena (1985).
