    1849: Double rate Cover from Auch to Valence, Gers bearing Cérès 40 c. orange, a fine and fresh adhesive with even large margins, tied by light petit chiffres '168' lozenge, matching type 15 AUCH despatch cds (Aug 12, 1854) and an attractive merchant's cachet in red alongside, reverse with type 15 "VALENCE-S-BAISE (31)" arrival cds of the next day.
