    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1861 (July): 1 d. rose-carmine, wmk. Swan sideways, roughly rouletted 14-16, unused examples (2) in pale rose-carmine and another in a richer deeper shade, the pale shade rouletted on three sides, the deeper shade rouletted on two sides, fresh and fine, unused without gum. Scarce stamps Gi = £ 700.
