    1849 (Sept 14): Prepaid cover from Paris via London (Sept 15) to Santiago de Chile endorsed "Voie d'Angleterre et de Panama", addressed to the French Consul General, with straight line "ULTRAMAR" in red and docketed "1½" and "VALPARAISO" and "2" with a total of 3½ reales due. Scarce. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
