    1841: 1 d. red-brown on blued, Alphabet II, plate 146, lettered HB-HC / IB-IC, a used block of four with good to large margins all round and showing large portion of adjoining stamps at left, used on circa 1852 cover from London to Beverley, Yorkshire. Cover noted in manuascript at left "Ab(ove). 2 oz." and "4" (pence) due to pay - double the deficiency, the adhesives cancelled by extremely rare usage of circular "MORE / TO / PAY" handstamp in black.
