    1820 ca.: Envelope (opened for display) endorsed "Racomm.ta al Sign. Capt. Tierra per consegnata al suo arrivo in Venezia' addressed to the Director of the Arsenale (dockyard) in Venice, bearing framed 'NETTO DI FUORI / E NETTO DI DENTRO' handstamp in red , taxed by '50'(carantani) with handwritten note at lower left: 'Con un sasso' meaning a parcel attached to the letter, bearing two superb strikes of "Espurgo Lettere Sanita Maritima di Venezia" sanitary handstamp on reverse. Fine and scarce usage.
