    Incoming from France 1863 (Aug 28): Unpaid entire letter from Lyon to Athens, struck by LYON despatch cds, charged with '132' lepta in red crayon, bearing a four-colour combination of 1862/67 Consecutive Athens printing 2 l. yellow-bistre, 10 l. yellow-orange, 40 l. mauve on blue and 80 l. rose-carmine, vivid colours with fair to large margins, tied by ATHENS arrival cds (Aug 22), reverse with MARSEILLE transit and French ambulant cds's. File fold well away from the franking, an interesting and appealing cover, the franking paying correctly 20 lepta inland rate plus 112 lepta (= 1 franc) rate for a transport with a vessel of the Messageries Imperiales, this cover making its journey on the 'Indus'. Hellas 16a+18a+20/Ia+22a.
