    Overprinted on Zanzibar 1897 (Jan 5): Provisional "2½" in red on 4 a. myrtle green, the set of three surcharged in red (Types 3, 4 and 5) by the Zanzibar Gazette, lightly cancelled in black. Just 1'680 stamps surcharged Types 3 and 5, only 840 surcharged Type 4). A very scarce set Gi = £ 375.
