    Provisional 'Cheque' Issue 1898 (March 11): Provisional 1 d. vermilion & deep ultramarine, Setting II, perf. 12, a used horizontal strip of three, marginal from top of sheet, with Controls "9C - blank - F7 8H", with central stamp missing impressed Control and third stamp with two impressions, cancelled by ZOMBA circular datestamps (June 27, 1898). A fine and scarce multiple Gi = £ 920+.
