    British East Africa Protectorate 1895 (Nov 14): De La Rue "Appendix B" dated at upper right, the sheet now divided into two seperate halves, showing fifteen Imperforate Proofs, ¼ a. to 5 r., all with the curved Duty Plates beautifully hand-painted, all in issued colours except the 2½ a. in ultramarine - close to the issued colour of the 1 rupee, and the 1 rupee Proof in deep blue - the issued colour of the 2½ anna value. Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 2313.
