    Overprinted on India at the Zanzibar Gazette 1895/96: India 1 a. plum overprinted, an unused block of twenty-four (3 x 8) corner marginal from lower left of sheet, overprint crisply applied characteristic of an early State, fresh colour, some negligible creasing not greatly affecting the appearance, large part or unmounted og. John Minns in "British East Africa" on page 77 states this to be one of the two largest unused multiples extant. Scarce Gi = £ 168+.
