    1841: 1 d. pink envelope (Die 100) used in 1861 to Frankfurt, Germany endorsed "Via Ostende", prepaid in cash with "8" in manuscript and adjacent "Lombard Street / Paid" cds in red (April 25) for the ½ ounce rate.
