    Yanaoun 1862 (Sept 15): Entire letter from YANAOUN, French India, a small French settlement without a Post Office, mailed to Bordeaux, passed to the British Post Office at "INGERAM" with double arc cds in black (Sept 18) on reverse and curved INDIA UNPAID applied. Accountancy marking "GB / 1F 62 4/10" in blue (Salles fig. 3049) and framed INDIA UNPAID struck in Bombay, thence by P&O steamer "Malta" to Suez and "Talazac" from Alexandria to Marseille (Oct 19) and charged '9' décimes due. Somewhat aged but a rare entire.
