    Regno, usage of Sardinian adhesives 1862 (Feb): Cover from Marsala to Roma, bearing Sardinia IV. emission 20 c. 'azzuro oltramare', large even margins, tied at Napoli by clear straight-line SICILIA handstamp in red (Sassone = 10 punti). Reverse with NAPOLI transit and ROMA arrival (Feb 4) cds's. The cover was despatched directly at the vessel, the 20 centesimi adhesive paid the journey to the Papal border, the addressee had to pay '16' bajocchi. Cert. E. Diena (1987) Sassone = € 100 + 2'100.
