1860/72: Diadem 1 s. rose-carmine, perf. 13 used in combination with De La Rue 1871 2 d. blue, 3 d. yellow-green and 6 d. bright mauve on 1874 double rate cover to Nantes, France endorsed "p. Ellorra" tied by "Sydney / NSW" duplexes (July 9). Readdressed from Nantes and reverse with Ancenis arrival (Aug 31) cds. The cover was carried to Melbourne on the "Ellora", on the "Baroda" to Galle, from Galle on the "Cathay" and the "Bangalore" from Alexandria.
