    1865 (Aug 16): Envelope from Warsaw to Paris, bearing 1858 (Sept) 30 kop. lilac & green perf. 12½ in combination with 1865 1 kop. yellow & black (2) and 5 kop. lilac & black, four fresh and fine examples with good perforation, each adhesive tied by clear '1' numeral square adhesive of Warsaw, type IIa with matching thimble WARSZAWA cds in red alongside. The obverse was also struck by "P.D." handstamp and Prussian "AUS POLEN über EISENB. POST BÜR. XI FRANCO 16 8 65", both in red and French "PRUSSE 18 AOUT 65 ERQUELINES" entry cds in blue. The obverse shows a credit of '8/3' silbergroschen in red crayon (3 silbergroschen to Prussia, 8 silbergroschen in total) which was crossed out by the Prussian post and replaced by a weiterfranko of 'wf5' (silbergroschen) in blue crayon credited from Prussia to France. Reverse shows Paris arrival cds in black (Aug 18, both gregorian).
